Meet the dogs

Hank
When Hank was a puppy, he contracted rat lung worm disease. This caused meningitis and paralysis of his hind legs. When we heard that Hank was looking for his furever home, we just couldn't say no.
Today Hank now has full use of his legs, however is completely incontinent. He has some malformation in his front legs. This does not stop Hank from running around with the rest of his dog friends.

Sinatra
Sinatra was found wandering the streets injured, and was picked up by the Humane Society where they nursed him back to health. While the entire staff fell in love with this sweet boy, he was constantly being overlooked by potential adopters, and started to show signs of kennel stress.
One day we called the Humane Society asking for their most overlooked dog, and they immediately thought of Sinatra. We brought him home on a trial-basis to see how he would do with the other animals, and he has been with us ever since. We found out much later that on the day we called, Sinatra was going to be euthanized. After finding this out, we just knew that Sinatra was meant to be here with us.

Bruno
Bruno was picked up off the streets by Animal Control when he was just a few months old, which is where he spent the next 5 months of his life. Due to not having much human interaction, Bruno was incredibly shy. This caused him to be overlooked by potential adopters, and at just 9 months old, he was scheduled to be euthanized.
On his "D-Day," he was brought to the vet clinic that Paula used to work at. We took one look at that sad face, and just knew that we had to help him. We took him home that night, and made it our mission to show him all of the love that he had missed out on. One of our team members worked tirelessly to get him to trust her, and after a few months, we saw a completely different dog. While Bruno is still shy around new faces, he has slowly started to let more people into his circle of trust. He spends most of his time playing with his best friend Hank.

Riffe
Riffe came to live with us after being listed on a local Facebook group. This energetic but sweet guy is always keeping us on our toes.

Marley
Marley came from the mainland when Paula and Josh moved to Big Island. After living quite the lavish life in Beverly Hills, Marley now loves being a farm dog.

Buddy
Buddy came to us from a local dog rescue to be a companion for Paula's dad after his beloved dog Gabby passed away. Buddy has adjusted to farm life swimmingly, and loves to be surrounded by his people.
